Savalia Academy

Our Story

A mother and son, united by a single standard.

Savalia Academy is the continuation of Dipta’s Math Academy, the same family, the same discipline, and a name that now carries all of us.

The Savalia family

It began at a kitchen table in 2007.

Dipta Savalia had already spent years teaching mathematics when she took on her first private students. Word traveled the way it does when results are real: one family at a time. Nearly two decades later, she has guided more than five hundred students while serving as a professor at the University of Delaware and Delaware Technical Community College.

Her son Tejas was the method’s first proof. He graduated from the University of Delaware debt-free on merit scholarships, earned degrees in computer science and applied mathematics, and became a machine learning engineer at JPMorgan Chase. Today he guides every academy family through the same path, admissions, essays, scholarships, and financial aid.

In renaming the practice Savalia Academy, we made a quiet promise: this is a family’s name on the door, and we treat every student’s future as if it carried our own.

The Faculty

Three teachers. Zero handoffs.

Every hour of instruction is delivered by the people on this page, never by a rotating cast of contractors.

What We Believe

The standards behind the name.

Mastery before pace

Nothing moves forward on a shaky foundation. We revisit a concept until it is truly owned, however long that takes.

Small by design

Cohorts are capped at six students. Not because we couldn't fill more seats, but because attention doesn't scale.

The parent is a partner

You receive honest, regular counsel on your student's progress. We would rather tell you a hard truth than a comfortable one.

Results, stated plainly

We measure ourselves in points gained, scholarships earned, and doors opened, and we publish the record.

Meet us before you decide.

A private consultation costs nothing and obligates you to nothing. We will assess your student honestly and tell you exactly what we see.
